Specialist Assistant Manager - Communication

Work you'll do
As a Specialist Assistant Manager, Communications on the USI Internal Communications team, you will be responsible for:
Serving as a strategic communications partner to business leaders, subject matter specialists, and stakeholders to elevate awareness of Deloitte offerings and services across internal networks
Participating in marketing campaign planning sessions to shape internal communications approaches and advise strategic marketers
Developing communications materials, including newsletter copy, leader emails and messages, talking points, and intranet content
Coordinating publishing across key platforms, managing distribution lists, and maintaining the editorial calendar
Reporting on communications performance, gathering insights from approved tools, and applying innovative tools to internal communications use cases
The team
The USI Internal Communications team provides strategic communications that build the Deloitte brand, strengthen our reputation, and drive business performance. This is a team of trusted advisors that delivers experienced counsel and superior results to the Deloitte U.S. Firms. Specifically, we seek to link internal communications to business objectives and deliver "quality" over "quantity." With a focus on measurable results, we strive to identify and manage opportunities that will deliver the highest impact for our clients. The Internal Communications Team provides strategic counsel to its clients, developing appropriate communication ideas and programs to further leadership and organizational goals.

Shift Timings:
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. IST
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related field
6–8 years of experience in a communications function, including at least 3 years in a large-scale or global organization
Experience developing and executing internal communications strategies and plans for a large business
Experience creating communications materials, including newsletter copy, leader emails or messages, talking points, and intranet content
Experience reporting communications performance using analytics, measurement tools, or communications reporting platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive
Preferred:
Experience in a professional services organization
Experience advising senior management on internal communications strategies
Experience with internal communications measurement platforms, including Poppulo
