Work you'll do
As a Specialist Assistant Manager, Analytics and Insights on the Strategic Analytics team, you will be responsible for:
Support large-scale data science projects tied to strategic business priorities
Develop tools and insights for leadership by identifying economic indicators, business changes, and policy impacts
Automate and streamline analytical work using advanced analytics techniques
Perform data-driven analysis to support storyboarding, recommendations, and decision-making materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Deloitte businesses and Enabling Areas to support key business functions
The team
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization supports our business, market and enabling area leaders by providing world class financial support. FP&A is made up of advisors who are influential in decision-making and partner with finance leaders to drive meaningful strategic and financial outcomes.
Within FP&A, the Strategic Analytics (SA) team integrates big data analytics, strategic thinking, and deep firm knowledge to provide leadership with insights to drive informed decision-making and enable continued growth. The team partners with business and operational leaders to provide an impact by leveraging data and analytical tools, strategic thinking, and hypothesis-based analysis. Specific responsibilities and qualifications for the USI Data Scientist role are outlined below.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
6+ years of experience
Experience in financial reporting and analysis
Experience in data analysis, data management, and data visualization
Experience with machine learning algorithms, including clustering and logistic regression
Experience with artificial intelligence software, including Dataiku and DataRobot
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data science tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Python, R, and Structured Query Language (SQL)
Preferred:
Advanced degree
Experience in a professional services firm
Proficiency in Tableau
