What can you expect?
Preparation and/ or review of Journal entries relating to accruals, prepaid, revenue, capitalization etc
Take ownership of the GL accounts assigned and continuously monitor them to ensure they remain error free
Suggest and submit entries basis accounts analysis and clearance
Review and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations and take actions for rectifying errors
Follow up and clear open items and ensure overall ageing remains under control. Ensure open items are adequately highlighted as per the escalation matrix
Co-ordinate with auditors and ensure all queries are responded accurately and on time
Work towards simplifying and improving the processes where ever possible
We will count on you to:
Take end to end responsibility of delivery and review of the work done by the analysts and the junior team members.
Take on additional activities within the existing bandwidth.
What you need to have:
2-3
years of experience in GL/R2R processes
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Prior experience in working in similar roles
Excellent knowledge of excel functions
Very good communication and need to be able to lead meetings with onsite stakeholders

Automation skills including VBA, power automate, python etc
