The Spa Executive is responsible for directing all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and maintaining financial viability. This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and accountability across all spa departments.
Financial Management:
Maintain the facility in optimal condition whilst adhering strictly to the operations budget
Implement rigorous controls over payroll and departmental expenses
Operational Leadership
Ensure consistent client comfort and satisfaction through direct oversight and quality assurance
Maintain appointment punctuality and conduct post-appointment reviews
Uphold rigorous cleanliness and organisational standards across all work areas
Manage inventory of massage oils, towels, sheets, and essential supplies with precision
Demonstrate professional excellence in all interactions with members and guests, addressing facility inquiries with competence
Execute all Body Treatments to the highest standard
Monitor and implement current industry trends in body treatments
Maintain all required professional licences and certifications
Report equipment malfunctions to the Operations Manager promptly
Provide support across all spa departments including Fitness, Facility Operations, Front Desk/Reception, and Retail as required
Strategic Development
Develop and promote bespoke spa programmes for conference groups
Conduct competitive analysis of location, services, pricing, and promotional strategies
Prepare and maintain service operations manuals
Facilitate the development and implementation of staff training programmes
Conduct regular in-services on accepted techniques, programmes, and proper equipment and product usage
Provide comprehensive facility tours for prospective clients and members
Engage in strategic meetings with product vendors
Guest Service Standards
Maintain peak operational and cleanliness standards throughout the facility
Prioritise guest and member satisfaction through adherence to safety and service standards
Administrative Oversight
Implement efficient scheduling systems for all Massage Therapists
Monitor and control departmental payroll
Develop and enforce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure compliance with hotel and provincial regulations through accurate record-keeping
Conduct selection interviews for new hires
Lead weekly and monthly Massage departmental communication meetings and represent the Massage Therapy team in weekly Spa departmental meetings
