Role Overview
The Sourcing Manager – Nutraceuticals will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, and procurement activities to ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials for the Nutraceutical business. The role requires strong negotiation skills, market intelligence, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for nutraceutical ingredients, APIs, excipients, extracts, and packaging materials.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to secure optimal value for the Company.
Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities in alignment with production plans and business requirements.
Ensure compliance with Company procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and quality consistency.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of purchase orders, contracts, pricing agreements, and vendor communications.
Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify cost-saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.
Work closely with Quality, R&D, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure smooth material qualification and approvals.
Qualifications
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of nutraceutical raw materials and supply markets
Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in the nutraceutical industry
Ability to manage multiple vendors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and cost-optimization mindset
