Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Software Developer
with strong expertise in
WordPress, frontend architecture, and modern JavaScript frameworks
. The role requires end-to-end ownership of the organization’s web platforms and digital assets, ensuring seamless functionality, performance optimization, and continuous enhancements aligned with business objectives.
In addition to hands-on development, the incumbent will provide
technical guidance and day-to-day supervision to junior frontend resources
, ensuring adherence to development standards and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of the organization’s
web platforms and internal digital properties
Develop and customize
WordPress themes, templates, and frontend modules
in line with business and branding requirements
Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, and/or React
Ensure adherence to
UI/UX standards, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility guidelines
Implement and maintain frontend architecture using modern
CSS frameworks
such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
Drive website performance improvements, code optimization, and SEO best practices
Collaborate closely with design, backend, marketing, and business teams for requirement gathering and execution
Conduct
code reviews, task planning, and technical oversight
for junior team members
Establish and enforce frontend development standards, coding best practices, and version control discipline
Support release planning, deployment coordination, and issue resolution
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in
frontend development
Strong hands-on experience in
WordPress development and theme customization
Expertise in
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Working knowledge of
Angular and/or React
Experience with
CSS frameworks
such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar
Strong understanding of
responsive design principles and frontend performance optimization
Experience integrating with
REST APIs / backend services
Proficiency in
Git and version control workflows
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of
PHP for WordPress customizations
Exposure to
SEO implementation and website analytics tools
Familiarity with hosting environments, deployment pipelines, and domain management
