About this role

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers responsible for the testing and validation of Google's network switch stack and infrastructure. Define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for network test engineering, automation, and infrastructure. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or network engineering. Experience managing and operating ethernet switches in an ISP environment. Experience developing software applications using C++ and Python. Experience leading and managing engineering teams. Experience with data center networking. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. 12 years of experience in software networking, specially data center networking domain. Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching). Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
