<p><strong>Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for SaaS products in <span class="markjj1zybytx" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Ruby</span> on Rails </li>
<li>Contribute at individual level in coding and development of modules (Yes, you will be hands on coding at Anchanto), module level integrations, API integrations, supporting integration with customer systems, integration with third party apps / platforms</li>
<li>Responsible to build systems for continuous delivery</li>
<li>Translate business problems to technical problems and designing the solution • Troubleshoot issues and tickets from end users</li>
<li>Monitor and support Systems and Batch processes</li>
<li>Leading, Mentoring and Motivating team</li>
<li>Write maintainable, scalable, simple, clean and efficient code</li>
<li>Follow coding standards, unit-testing, code reviews and version control</li>
<li>Work in agile development life cycle, attend daily Scrum </li>
<li>Follow release cycles and commitment to deadlines </li>
<li>Continuous updation of the design and implementation in the technical specification document </li>
<li>Working closely with the development manager & extending full support in achieving the common goal in the best interest of the project and the Company </li>
<li>Providing regular and precise status updates on the development owned, taking steps to identify risks and devise mitigation plans</li>
<li>Continually look for opportunities to improve coding, module structure, response time of the queries</li>

<p><strong>Required Skills </strong></p>

<li>Ability to work in a fast paced, growth mode start-up environment. Ready to roll sleeves do what-ever-needs-to-be-done attitude, hands-on approach to lead by example and showcasing the sense of ownership </li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with <span class="markjj1zybytx" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Ruby</span> and <span class="markjj1zybytx" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Ruby</span> on Rails • Hands-on experience with RSpec, Cucumber and other <span class="markjj1zybytx" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">Ruby</span> testing tools. Sound knowledge of RSpec is must to have </li>
<li>Sound knowledge of MySQL is a must to have. Candidates with high skill of writing SQL will be preferred </li>
<li>Knowledge of PostgreSQL is additional bonus </li>
<li>Should have good working knowledge to write Stored Procedures </li>
<li>Should have experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools </li>

<li>JSON and XML knowledge is must to have. </li>
<li>Should have very good knowledge of Unix commands. </li>
