: Software Engineer II, Backend

Responsibilities:
Design and develop highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems.
Able to take responsibility for multiple services maintained by the team.
Own and improve product reliability by collaborating with Tech stakeholders.
Contribute to engineering efforts from planning to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems.
Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Provide Level 2 technical support to address incidents & escalations.
Requirements:
Proven ability to design, develop and manage microservices at scale.
Proven ability to handle incidents & escalations of complex technical issues.
Willingness to cross-team/role boundaries and work with other teams/other roles.
Willingness to learn and experiment with new languages and technologies.
Experience:
1+ year of overall work experience.
Previous experience working in Enterprise SaaS is a plus.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Technical
Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, using them to effectively design and develop microservices at scale.
Hands-on experience developing microservices in Python / Golang is preferrable.
Hands-on experience working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL.
Experience working with gRPC is a plus.
Experience working with container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
