Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Configuration & Development Engineer to join our Digital & Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) team
.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing document capture and imaging platforms that enable large-scale digital ingestion and processing of physical and electronic documents across global operations
.
You will be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to digital transformation and leveraging advanced technology to streamline global operations
.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Responsibility 1:
Configure, customize, and maintain imaging capture workflows—including document classification, data extraction, and validation—to ensure efficient digital processing
.
Responsibility 2:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with integrations between capture platforms and downstream systems such as content management and reporting modules
.
Responsibility 3:
Ensure compliance with Information Technology (IT) governance, security, and coding standards while maintaining clear technical documentation for all configurations and Structured Query Language (SQL) logic
.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2–5 years
of experience in configuration and development roles within Information Technology (IT) organizations
.
Strong knowledge
of Imaging Capture Tools such as Kofax, Captiva, ABBYY, OpenText Omni, IBM Datacap, Ephesoft, or Hyland OnBase Capture
.
Proven ability
in working with SQL and relational databases, with a solid understanding of document and records management concepts
.
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
.
