Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET and C# server-side applications using ASP.NET WebForms
Build and optimize SQL Server databases: stored procedures, functions, views, triggers
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack
Implement client-side functionality with JavaScript and jQuery (and legacy front-end frameworks as needed)
Collaborate with product owners and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases
Analyze and optimize application and query performance for scale and reliability
Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews
Required Qualifications
VB.NET: 3+ years of hands-on experience
ASP.NET WebForms: 3+ years building and maintaining WebForms applications
SQL Server: 3+ years; good at writing and tuning stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries
JavaScript: Strong proficiency, including DOM manipulation and AJAX patterns
Proficient with Visual Studio (3+ years) and GIT source control
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; able to dive into legacy code and refactor as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication; experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
Ability to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities on short notice
Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves
Experience with any front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, AngularJS, React)
Background in performance profiling and load testing
Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelines
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Previous experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
