Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated, software engineer to join a development team responsible for building software applications targeted at extending security technology capabilities. As a member of a team, you will play an important role in the definition and development of applications that are leveraged extensively throughout the Allegion web, mobile and desktop product portfolios. A world leader in creating and sustaining comfortable and efficient environments, Allegion delivers the broadest product portfolio to empower customers to have safe and secure environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop the domain and product knowledge quickly
Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, evaluating, and documenting application development on desktop, web based and mobile platforms using various technologies.
Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues and status updates.
Requirements:
Strong programming abilities in C# or Java
Strong in OOP concepts
Strong in Database (SQL) concepts
Strong knowledge of data structures, multithreading concepts.
Should possess strong analytical and communication skills
Excellent communication and written skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Must demonstrate flexibility for work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of ASP.net, MVC
Knowledge of Android development/ IOS
Education:
BE or M Tech. in Computer Science Engineering or related field
