About this role

Drive the technical goal for the critical security infrastructure. Drive high-quality implementation of features and simplify the integration and adoption experience of these security controls for external customers. Lead the architectural design of complex, cross-product solutions spanning IAP, CAA, and VPC-SC to meet evolving customer needs and security threats. Design innovative solutions to speed up the time it takes for a customer to adopt and correctly configure advanced access controls and security perimeters. Define and shape the strategic engineering roadmap for the entire Access Risk team, identify opportunities for innovation and feature differentiation. Set and elevate engineering standards across the team, provide technical leadership and mentoring. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience with testing, maintaining, or launching software products. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
