This role sits close to real-world customer issues and demands strong debugging skills, clear communication, and a solid engineering mindset. You’ll dive into complex problems, ship fixes, and improve the way our systems behave in production.</p>
<p>If you enjoy understanding how things actually run in production, spotting patterns in logs and metrics, and improving reliability through thoughtful engineering, you’ll fit right in.<br><br>This team is the bridge between how the product is built and how customers actually experience it. Your work improves stability, reduces customer pain, and strengthens trust in our platform. You’ll not only fix issues but also help prevent them from recurring but would also be responsible for building self-serve experiences that would eliminate support load on engineering teams.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll do and how you'll have an impact</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own the investigation and resolution of technical issues from customer-facing teams.</li>
<li>Debug and fix issues that require deep engineering involvement.</li>
<li>Deliver solutions that align with our coding standards and development guidelines.</li>
<li>Act as the technical point of contact between Support, Product, and Engineering teams.</li>
<li>Write clear documentation including knowledge articles, incident timelines, and post-mortem notes.</li>
<li>Protect SLAs through strong prioritization and timely escalation.</li>
<li>Build and maintain a strong understanding of the AppDirect platform across product lines.</li>
<li>Identify patterns and contribute to automation or tools that reduce repeated manual work.</li>
<li>Stay aligned with ongoing product and platform changes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>B.E./B.Tech/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.</li>
<li>3-5 years of experience in software development or support engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment.</li>
<li>Strong experience in Java 11+, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, MongoDB, and REST/GraphQL APIs.</li>
<li>Solid hands-on knowledge of APM and log analysis tools, especially Datadog (metrics, dashboards, traces, alerts).</li>
<li>Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts, deployments, and how services run in clusters.</li>
<li>Clear understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how code moves from development to production.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, React/JavaScript (nice to have), microservices, event-driven design, and Kafka.</li>
