Job Summary: The role of a Social Media Specialist entails developing and managing content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, with the objective of establishing a following and fostering customer engagement. In addition, the Specialist may be tasked with monitoring site analytics, addressing audience feedback, and supervising creative design. Responsibilities & Duties: Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns Managing a high volume of daily social media posts Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results Qualifications: Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented  with good multitasking and organizational ability Fluency in English Skills: A genuine interest in Social platforms Hands-on experience with social ad platforms like Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an excellent knowledge of Excel Proficiency in numbers, data and reporting
