They are also dedicated to sustainability and foregrounding a brand purpose, which means the work we do with them requires working creative thinking into every brief, regardless of scale.  We are currently looking to hire a Social Media Manager with 4+ years experience to manage social networks for a top beauty client.  The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies, and must excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy and media.  An editorial background and creative skills such as Photoshop would be an advantage.     What you will be doing:  <ul> <li>Your key role will be to manage all content for the brand and build an engaging community on social media. </li> <li>Manage content for the brand across social, e-comm and website. </li> <li>Curate copy for the brands social media handles. </li> <li>Should be camera friendly and good with shooting content from a phone. </li> <li>Grow brand’s social media and YT follower base aggressively by creating content, mapping performance, looking through competition, engaging with the influencer community and managing the online reputation. </li> <li>Repurpose existing content for different uses </li> <li>Master a variety of brand voices </li> <li>Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution </li> <li>Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with the Creative Director-Copy(CD/ Account Director) and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellence </li> <li>Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities </li> <li>Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content </li> <li>Ensure consistency and quality across all written content </li> <li>Present and articulate concepts to clients </li> <li>Posting and scheduling all content and keep the content and cultural calendar up to date. </li> <li>Helping to plan the content calendars. </li> <li>Helping to develop copy to support our visual content. </li> <li>Participating in creative brainstorms alongside the Creative Director and Strategist. </li> <li>Having a great understanding of social channels and trends </li> <li>Staying up to date with updates and changes across the social platforms and communicating these to team members. </li> </ul>    What you will need to be great in this role:   <ul> <li>4+ years strong experience writing for digital. Must be comfortable creating content with SEO in mind </li> <li>Ability to strategies things from a long term perspective </li> <li>Good in analytics </li> <li>To be up to date with trends & know how of platforms </li> <li>Keep a track record of executing campaigns </li> <li>Understanding of how digital landscape works </li> <li>Should have ability to think on a 360/ cohesive level </li> <li>Proactive follow ups, to be on top of things </li> <li>Have worked with beauty/ personal care space </li> <li>Have a creative vision for the brand - strategy, copy, content, social with knowledge and expertise. </li> <li>Be immersed in the execution of Brand across all consumer touch points - social media, influencer, paid media including performance, PR, ecomm and DTC. </li> <li>To take accountability & manage the flow of accountability and scale up quality work. </li> <li>Put together content schedules and create a seamless environment and flow of work. </li> <li>Must have flawless written English including punctuation and spelling. </li> <li>Someone who loves the pace of digital change and innovation. </li> <li>Someone who keeps abreast of pop culture, loves a meme, and keeps on top of internet trends. </li> <li>Good understanding of which content, formats and platforms drive which outcomes. </li> <li>Good understanding of people’s behaviour on social media across different platforms. </li> <li>A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for beauty brands </li> <li>A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums </li> <li>Able to use data and insight to inform creative </li> <li>A flair for words </li> <li>Good Communication skills </li> <li>Good in handling pressure </li> <li>The ability to think conceptually when needed.
