Job Summary
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day railway construction and maintenance activities at site, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and as per Indian Railways standards, drawings, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site activities related to
track works, civil works, OHE, signaling, or station development
.
Ensure work is executed as per
approved drawings, plans, and Indian Railways specifications
.
Coordinate with
engineers, contractors, vendors, and labor teams
.
Maintain
daily progress reports (DPR), site logs, and measurement records
.
Ensure strict adherence to
safety standards, railway safety rules, and PPE usage
.
Monitor
quality of materials and workmanship
at site.
Assist in
inspection, testing, and commissioning activities
.
Ensure
timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower
.
Identify and report
site issues, delays, and risks
to the Project Manager.
Support
billing measurements and documentation
.
Coordinate with
Railway officials and third-party inspectors
when required.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech
in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (as applicable).
3–8 years of experience
in railway projects (track, OHE, civil, signaling, or electrification).
Good knowledge of
Indian Railways standards, procedures, and safety norms
.
Ability to read and interpret
drawings and BOQs
.
Basic
computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
for reporting.
Willingness to work at
remote project sites and night shifts
if required.

Job Summary
The Site Supervisor – S&T will be responsible for supervising execution of signaling and telecommunication works at site in accordance with Indian Railways specifications, approved drawings, and safety standards. The role ensures quality execution, safety compliance, and timely completion of S&T activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily execution of
Railway Signaling & Telecom works
including:
Indoor & outdoor signaling
Cable laying & termination
EI / RRI / PI interlocking works
OFC laying & splicing
Axle counter & track circuit works
Ensure work execution as per
approved drawings, IRS specifications, RDSO guidelines, and rail safety norms

Coordinate with
S&T engineers, construction teams, contractors, and vendors
.
Maintain
daily progress reports (DPR), joint measurements, and site documentation
.
Ensure
proper testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning
of S&T systems.
Enforce strict
railway safety procedures
, including block protection and PPE compliance.
Supervise
cable trenching, route proving, and equipment installation
.
Monitor
quality of materials, installations, and workmanship
.
Coordinate with
traffic, engineering, electrical, and operations departments
during block works.
Report
site issues, delays, and technical problems
