Services Associate - Procurement Services-Hyderabad

As a Services Associate, Contracts and Procurement Services, you will support procurement lifecycle activities for Government and Public Services, including competitive bidding, sourcing support, proposal support, supplier coordination, and market analysis. You will help drive efficient procurement operations while supporting internal stakeholders with timely, accurate, and well-documented work.
Work you'll do
As a Services Associate, Contracts and Procurement Services on the GPS Procurement team, you will be responsible for:
Support competitive bidding activities, including price analysis and cost analysis, to help drive procurement decisions
Apply sourcing strategies to support business requirements for software, hardware, SaaS solutions, and other commodities
Provide supply chain insights, projections, and analysis to support procurement planning and decision-making
Support proposal teams by helping develop bills of materials for software, hardware, and other commodities
Manage supplier interactions, respond to supplier inquiries, and connect suppliers with the appropriate internal stakeholders
Monitor supply markets, track category trends, and support supplier relationship management activities
The team
As part of the GPS, team members work collaboratively to ensure that the organization is operating effectively and efficiently, and that it is meeting its goals and objectives. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets and resources, supply chain insights, supply chain projections and analysis, optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with government regulations and organizational policies, and supporting other departments in their work. The GPS plays a crucial role in enabling an organization to deliver high-quality services to its government and public sector clients.

Qualifications
Required:
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in supply chain, procurement, logistics, business, commerce, or finance
1-4 years of Procure-to-Pay experience supporting software, hardware, or Software as a Service purchasing
Experience supporting competitive bidding, sourcing, price analysis, or cost analysis
Experience using procurement portals or Procure-to-Pay platforms
Experience preparing supply chain insights, projections, or data analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using SharePoint, Power BI, data analytics tools, or artificial intelligence tools
Preferred:
Experience negotiating value-added reseller agreements
Experience supporting proposal development or bills of materials for software, hardware, or other commodities
Experience managing supplier relationships or supplier inquiries
Experience monitoring supply markets, category trends, or supplier diversity programs
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements
