About the Role:
You will support quality assurance for a ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) integration program at a global enterprise client, helping validate publisher-by-publisher onboarding into the SAM platform. You will execute test plans that verify license compliance, entitlement accuracy, software discovery, normalization, and reclamation across multiple integration patterns — Direct, Custom, API, and RPA. You will work closely with senior QA engineers, ServiceNow administrators, and integration developers to ensure each release ships with strong data integrity and accurate compliance reporting.
Responsibilities
Execute functional, integration, regression, and data validation test cases for ServiceNow SAM publisher integrations.
Test entitlement reconciliation, software discovery mappings, normalization rules, and reclamation workflows for publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, and SAP.
Validate Direct, Custom, API, and RPA-based publisher integrations, including data ingestion, transformation, license position calculation, and compliance reports.
Author and maintain test cases, test scripts, and defect logs in ServiceNow ATF, Jira, or the client's preferred test management tooling, and keep traceability matrices up to date.
Triage and reproduce defects, document clear repro steps, and partner with ServiceNow administrators and developers through resolution and retest.
Support UAT cycles, document review, and approval activities, and contribute to knowledge transfer artifacts including the self-implementation guide and SAM findings summary deck.
