Who are we:
Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview:
Manage complete service spares ecosystem – central warehouse, small assemblies, and packing operations supplying nationwide RapteeHV dealer network. Own end-to-end inventory from planning through dealer delivery during production scale-up.
What You’ll Do:
1. Inventory Planning & Control
Analyze dealer consumption patterns and forecast service parts demand.
Maintain optimal safety stock levels for critical and slow-moving spares.
Conduct ABC analysis to prioritize inventory management efforts.
Control obsolescence through regular stock reviews and disposition.
2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Create purchase orders for service spares in coordination with sourcing team.
Monitor vendor performance and lead times for reliable supply.
Negotiate terms to optimize service parts costs and availability.
3. Small Assemblies
Oversee assembly of dealer service kits (tyres+tools, maintenance packs).
Ensure quality standards and accuracy of kit contents per BOM.
Manage assembly workflow efficiency and output consistency.
4. Packing Management
Develop and enforce damage-free packing standards for dealer shipments.
Optimize packing materials and processes for cost efficiency.
Implement proper labeling and documentation for seamless dealer receipt.
5. Warehouse Operations
Handle goods receipt, quality inspection, and accurate bin location storage.
Manage pick-pack-ship operations meeting dealer delivery timelines.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
6. Dealer Support
Provide stock visibility through dealer portal or reporting.
Coordinate emergency shipments for critical dealer needs.
Train dealers on ordering processes and inventory best practices.
Who Can Apply?
3+ years automotive service spares inventory management.
Experience with small assemblies and packing operations.
ERP systems for inventory control.
Advanced Excel for forecasting and analysis.
Proven warehouse team leadership (5+ staff).
B.Tech in Mechanical,Industrial or related field preferred.
