Job Summary
The Service Center Manager is responsible for supervising a team of technical professionals in delivering field service engineering support to customers. This role ensures the effective execution of service operations, resolves complex technical issues, and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. The manager plays a key role in setting team goals, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with service standards.
Heading & responsible for complete service center repairs activities, implementation of Lean principle & develop the service center with required Improvising in existing process
Main accountabilities and tasks
Monitor, Manage, Control & solutions giving for all repairs pumps & Turbo equipment received for the repairs and overhaul at Vadodara service center.
Leading & administer the service center team of around 20 guys with their day today work, follow-ups and guidance.
Develop the existing service center with adopting good industrial practices & growing service center to excellence working on digitalization
RFC Planning, Sales Commitment on Monthly, quarterly & Yearly basis. with dispatches by On time accuracy level and minimize the order cycle time by implementing best practices in place.
Responsible for growth of repair business, quality and faster repair works, resulting in customer satisfaction.
Interdepartmental coordination among Tendering team, procurement, Engineering & Sales functions for relevant subjective matters.
Regular Meetings with concerns interdepartmental for timely Order intake and sales planning.
Main KPI - Monthly RFC sales, Ontime delivery & Order Cycle time, & Safety walks & safety observations Monthly targeted
Responsible for closing the cases of Warranty cases, profit margin assurance, Cash Collections & business growth.
Interactions & managing for administrative work if any for service providing like MGCL, GPCB, Rental agreement, Nonconformance & service center legal documentation.
Responsible for service center external audit for ISO standards
Work experience
:
20+ Years experience in repairs of rotary equipment like High energy Pumps/ centrifugal compressor/ turbines rotors repairs & other equipment's.
Capable of solution providing for complex equipment's repairs & reassembly of OEM & OEM- X pumps and turbo services. Versed with Dynamic balancing of Rotors, Rotors refurbishments, Retrofits
Preparing SOP/ Work instructions for any new repairs equipment
Handled approx. 20 guys team including quality, engineering, parts processing, operations and logistics
Languages known & good Communication skills
English, Hindi & Gujarati
