As a Services Associate, Firm Risk, Compliance, and Governance Services on the Risk & Brand Protection team, you will be responsible for:
Developing working knowledge of Deloitte U.S. Firms’ independence policies
Performing personal independence audits by reviewing submitted materials for compliance with firm requirements
Identifying financial interests, researching findings, and documenting audit procedures and potential policy violations
Interacting with auditees and coordinating with USI and U.S. team members on audit matters
Managing multiple audits simultaneously, tracking progress, and reporting issues to management
The team
The Risk & Brand Protection group is responsible for strategic, confidential and regulatory driven operations which include assurance of the independence of the firm and its partners, principals, directors and professionals, apart from a host of other compliances of professionals of the U.S. and US India (‘USI’) offices.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
Intermediate examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India passed
Successful completion of three years’ articleship
Experience reviewing audit materials for compliance with policy requirements
Knowledge of U.S. income tax returns
Knowledge of financial instruments and their impact on independence assessments
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
Experience supporting compliance audits or independence reviews
Experience documenting audit procedures, findings, and conclusions
Experience researching financial interests using databases and online sources
