About this role

Job Purpose:  Based in our Bangalore office the Senior Web-Mobile App Developer, will be responsible for delivering high-quality software for our Internet and Mobile applications, implementing new business requirements, and maintaining the functionality of CR2’s BankWorld platform. Enhancing and extending or product deployment tooling solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain features that support our clients in the global banking sector.   Our Hybrid Working Model requires employees to be on-site three days per week — specifically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Key Responsibilities:   Design & Implementation:  Develop and implement new features for web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications.   Agile Development & Team Collaboration: Actively participate in agile scrum ceremonies, working closely with team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.    Code Quality & Review:  Ensure adherence to software design best practices, participate in design and code reviews, and proactively suggest improvements to processes and practices.   Support & Troubleshooting:  Assist in maintaining and supporting both new and existing features by working with the support team to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.   Innovation & Continuous Learning:  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and integrate new solutions to enhance the user experience and product functionality.   Out-of-Hours Support:  Provide occasional out-of-hours support for critical product issues when required.   Additional Tasks:  Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.   Critical Competencies:   Technical Expertise: Proficient in Angular Web Development    Agile Methodologies: Experienced in agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.     Version Control : Proficiency in Git for source code management.   Communication Skills:  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical ideas clearly and precisely.   Attention to Detail:  Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and a passion for continuous learning.   Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and contributing to the overall success of the company.    Team Collaboration: A strong team player who is cooperative, flexible, and committed to working effectively with others to achieve shared goals.    Customer-Focused:  Strong customer orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs.   Qualifications and Experience:   Educational Background: Honours Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.    Experience in Web Development:  5+ years of proven experience in modern web development, including HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS3, and responsive web design (RWD).   Experience in Mobile App Development:  At least 3 years of experience building web and mobile applications using Angular 2+, Ionic 4+, and TypeScript.   API Integration:  Solid experience in consuming REST APIs and integrating them into web and mobile applications.   Desirable Skills: Experience in creating custom Cordova or Capacitor plugins is highly desirable, and familiarity with the banking or financial services sector.    Success Metrics:   Feature Delivery: Timely and accurate delivery of new features and enhancements in line with scrum goals, project timelines and business requirements. Story points delivered within the sprint.   Code Quality: High-quality, reliable code with minimal defects, adhering to best practices in software unit testing with 100% code coverage and product security.    Team Contribution: Active participation and collaboration within the scrum team, contributing to the achievement of 100% scrum team goals and project milestones.    Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders regarding the functionality, stability, and security of the product.  Target is Zero Implementation bugs in customer reported issues   Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with industry trends and incorporating new knowledge into daily work.  Training hours completed within the year.   Equal Opportunity Statement: CR2 HPS Group is an equal opportunity employer.
