Senior UAT Engineer (Service Now) - will be joining the Workflow Systems & Tools team. The key focus is to define and handle E2E UAT (User Acceptance Testing) strategy, execution, and automation adoption across critical ServiceNow initiatives. Responsible for handling the UAT with complete test scenarios and cases, execution, automation and reporting through strong engagement with business & technology for various large scale transformation projects and systems across Data & Analytics division of LSEG. You would be working closely with project team, business, and technology to understand and complete as per the agreed scope, timelines, business outcome and success criteria.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Clear understanding of software development process and testing methodologies.
Support delivery and validation of
ServiceNow
requirements and other
modules
(e.g
., ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, ESM
), ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Establish and implement
automation strategy using SNOW ATF and external tools (e.g., Selenium, Automate Pro)
Translate business requirements into robust UAT scenarios and test cases and get them reviewed by the business to ensure adequate test coverage.
Create and maintain
automated regression suites
to improvise impactful coverage
Experience in integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Ability to drive UAT independently and influence partners.
Collaborates across groups – Customer Implementation (CIS), Professional Service
(PS),
Technology and other services to facilitate discussion and solutions
Establish the test scenarios into cases and load the scripts into the test tool Zephyr for execution.
Expertise in using defect tracking tools to report and Govern defects.
Assist in Formulating and maintaining test data sets to support various testing scenarios.
collaborate with business testers on UAT readiness.
Orient test participants on the UAT execution, problem reporting and conclusion of processes.
Handles central repository of UAT documents, scripts, and materials.
Identify and fully detail all bugs discovered during test execution and communicate details of bugs to developers for remediation.
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, providing complete information for developers.
Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Communicate efficiently with team members and participants regarding testing development and results.
Continuously update and improve testing documentation and knowledge base.
Provide input and suggestions for product refinement based on testing observations.
Tools and capabilities:
Practical knowledge of Service NOW

Desired Skills:
6–10
years of experience in
UAT / QA with strong ServiceNow exposure
with hands on experience across modules
like ITSM, IRM, GRC, CSM, etc
Hands on experience in ServiceNow ATF and automation tools (Automate Pro/Selenium)
3-5 Years’ experience in banking functional testing
Co ordinate test case creation, test execution and test resources
Skilled at testing process and methodologies.
Strong analytical, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction and perform well as part of a team.
Familiarity with testing Business Rules to create positive and negative test cases.
Experience of using and handling, reporting test progress tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Zephyr.
Guide in defect creation and defect management
Experience partnering with multiple resources on projects.
Experience with Salesforce and databases is an added advantage.
ISTQB certification is a plus
