Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Services on the German Business Tax team, you will be responsible for:
Prepare and review simple to medium-complexity group entity and standalone tax returns for corporations and partnerships
Oversee and manage the preparation and review of simple to medium-complexity group entity and standalone tax returns for corporations and partnerships
Collaborate with team members and onshore stakeholders to gather information necessary for tax return preparation
Train new recruits and provide day-to-day guidance on assigned work
Support process standardization and documentation efforts
The team
The German Business Tax team in USI is engaged in the preparation and review of various types of corporate entities in Germany, including tax reporting, tax returns, DWT returns, and law firm tax return submissions. We are a team of professionals with varying experience and skills in tax technical matters, and the team is involved in training, onboarding, work allocation, and process improvement/documentation.
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
Full-time master’s degree in finance or equivalent
4-6 years of corporate tax experience
Experience preparing or reviewing tax returns for corporations and partnerships
Knowledge of accounting principles
Experience collaborating with offshore or onshore teams on tax compliance deliverables
Preferred:
Experience supporting German business tax engagements
Experience training or onboarding new team members
Experience with process standardization or documentation initiatives
Experience using tax technology tools in a tax compliance environment
