Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the
primary administrator for Workday Financials
, ensuring overall
system integrity, strong internal controls, optimal configuration, and platform stability
across finance domains.
Bring
hands‑on finance process knowledge
across
Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash / Customer‑to‑Cash (C2C), Projects, and Expenses
to effectively support end‑to‑end accounting and operational workflows.
Partner closely with
global finance teams (Accounting, AP, AR, Procurement, FP&A, and Internal Audit)
to understand business requirements and translate them into
scalable, compliant Workday solutions
.
Manage, configure, and support
Workday Financial Accounting, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Expenses, Projects, Customer Accounts, Cash Management, and Reporting
, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and business processes.
Lead and execute
end‑to‑end QA responsibilities
for Workday Financials, including:
Test strategy definition (unit, system, UAT, regression)
Development of
test scripts and scenarios
Validation of accounting impacts (journals, ledgers, balances)
Coordination and support of
business user acceptance testing
Own
release management and deployment activities
for Workday Financials:
Assess Workday biannual releases for finance impact
Validate new features and configuration changes
Ensure smooth production deployments with minimal business disruption
Troubleshoot and resolve
functional and data‑related issues
across finance processes, performing root‑cause analysis and ensuring
accurate accounting outcomes and timely resolution
.
Collaborate with IT, integration teams, and business stakeholders to drive
continuous improvement, automation, and controls enhancement
, including optimization of
P2P, C2C, and close processes
.
Ensure
data accuracy and process compliance
by validating configurations against accounting standards, audit requirements, and finance governance policies.
Maintain comprehensive
documentation
for:
System configurations
Finance business processes and workflows
QA procedures and test evidence
End‑user and support training materials
Act as a
trusted SME for Workday Financials
, keeping current with Workday roadmap and releases, and
proactively recommending capabilities
that improve finance efficiency, controls, reporting, and decision‑making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum
5+ years of hands-on experience
with
Workday Financials
.
Strong understanding of finance processes and principles.
Proven ability to work effectively with
global teams
and
finance stakeholders
.
Experience in Workday configuration, reporting, and business process design.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Workday certifications in Financials (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization.
Extensive finance process knowledge (R2R, O2C,P2P etc)
Familiarity with Workday integrations and security.
Project management or change management experience.
