<div>The DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating, operating, and supporting infrastructure and application environments. This role focuses on configuration management, scripting, database support, and operational reliability, with a strong emphasis on backup, recovery, and continuous improvement across environments.</div>

<li><strong>Automation & Configuration</strong></li>

<li>Ansible for configuration management, deployment, and orchestration</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Scripting & Development</strong></li>

<li>Python for automation, tooling, and operational scripts</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>Database</strong></li>
<ul>
<li>Strong ability to write and optimize <strong>SQL queries</strong> for reporting, troubleshooting, and operational support</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>Operational Responsibilities</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Infrastructure and application operations support across environments</li>
<li>Backup and recovery management:</li>
<ul>
<li>Understanding of backup strategies, retention policies, and restore procedures</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Commvault</strong> or <strong>Veritas NetBackup</strong> is a strong advantage</li>
</ul>
<li>Monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution</li>
<li>Support operational readiness, system reliability, and performance tuning</li>
<li>Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure operational stability</li>
<li>Experience with Aptare Backup Reporting and Analytics to monitor backup performance, capacity utilization, SLA compliance, and trend analysis.</li>
<li>Ability to develop, customize, and maintain Aptare reports and dashboards using SQL to support operational, audit, and management reporting.</li>
</ul>

<li>Creating dashboards and reports for operational metrics, capacity, and performance insights</li>
