Ideate and manage high impact strategies which increase user safety or improve user experience on Google Shopping in partnership with executive stakeholders from Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Policy, Sales and other Trust and Safety teams.
Perform investigative fraud and abuse analysis, produce actionable insights and recommendations.
Identify opportunities for new signals, automation, workflow improvements and operational efficiency gains, and subsequently drive solutions to completion.
Strengthen global partnerships with executive stakeholders across teams and act as a reliable domain expert for them.
Take part in the regular on-call coverage rotation to resolve sensitive issues and escalations.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related field.
4 years of experience in data analysis, working with databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree.
Experience in generating summary statistics, and developing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or with programming language (e.g., Python).
Experience in working with abuse, spam, fraud or malware.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment
