Direct the technical roadmap for Search, Subscriptions, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), ensuring alignment with global Android TV Operating System (OS) standards.
Partner with United States (US)-based architects to transition Google TV into a Generative AI (GenAI)-native platform.
Elevate the engineering bar by mentoring and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Work with product and business leaders to identify technical opportunities and de-risk investments.
Take accountability for the performance and reliability of features across device ecosystem.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of experience with building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks,
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with media or streaming or OS internals (e.g., Android or Linux).
Experience in building systems for Daily Active Users (DAU) on resource-constrained hardware.
Knowledge of integrating Large Language Models (LLMs)/Generative AI into consumer products.
