As part of the CXL Firmware and Software team, you will contribute to the development of both Structera families: Structera A: Near-memory accelerators that enable optimal compute and memory scaling. Structera X: Memory-expansion controllers that maximize performance and support sustainability goals. This is a high-impact engineering role requiring close collaboration with hardware, validation, and product teams. You will be responsible for delivering robust, production-quality firmware and software that powers next-generation memory infrastructure What You Can Expect As a Staff/Senior Staff Engineer, you will be involved in : Design and implement PCIe Host (Root Complex) and Endpoint drivers  for Linux, embedded Linux, or RTOS environments Develop and maintain BAR (Base Address Register) mappings , DMA engines, MSI/MSI‑X interrupt handling, and link initialization Implement PCIe configuration space access, enumeration, and resource allocation Support SR‑IOV, ATS, PASID, and advanced PCIe features (as applicable) Debug PCIe link training issues (Gen1–Gen5), lane configurations, and power state transitions Work closely with hardware teams to resolve PHY, controller, or signal‑integrity related issues Debug complex system issues using tools such as: PCIe protocol analyzers Logic analyzers, JTAG, and trace logs Develop validation and stress test frameworks for PCIe functionality Provide root cause analysis and long‑term fixes for customer‑reported issues Create detailed design documentation and driver usage guides Participate in architecture and design reviews Collaborate with BIOS/UEFI, firmware, kernel, and application teams What We're Looking For Master’s degree in computer science, Electronics , or a related engineering field More than 6 years of experience in firmware/software development within the semiconductor industry Proven hands-on experience with Linux  kernel device drivers , hardware bring-up, and debugging Proficiency in C Coding, good to have hands on knowledge on C++ and Python Familiarity with Git & CI/CD  Familiarity with ARM soc architecture Familiarity with RTOS (preferably Zaphyr) Good team player, adaptable and can do attitude Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements With competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity.
