This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on expertise in&nbsp;<strong>product test planning, production test systems, field device debugging, and validation of off-the-shelf devices</strong>. The Test Engineering Lead will guide a team of test engineers, collaborate with design and system teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable products to the field.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, ensuring effective execution of test plans and professional development.</li> <li>Own and drive&nbsp;<strong>Product Test Plans (PTP)</strong>across product lifecycles, from development to production and field validation.</li> <li>Oversee and enhance&nbsp;<strong>Production Test Systems (PTS)</strong>for consistency, scalability, and accuracy of test results.</li> <li>Direct efforts in&nbsp;<strong>field device debugging</strong>, including reproduction of issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.</li> <li>Lead&nbsp;<strong>validation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices</strong>for integration, interoperability, and performance.</li> <li>Define and enforce test standards, methodologies, and documentation practices.</li> <li>Ensure defects are systematically tracked, analysed, and resolved in collaboration with design, firmware, and hardware teams.</li> <li>Drive automation of test procedures to improve coverage and efficiency.</li> <li>Coordinate cross-functional reviews of test results, metrics, and reports with stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and infrastructure.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>12+ years of experience in product/system testing, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or senior role.</li> <li>Proven expertise in&nbsp;<strong>product test planning and execution</strong>.</li> <li>Strong exposure to&nbsp;<strong>Production Test Systems (PTS)</strong>&nbsp;and automated test equipment.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to debug and resolve issues in&nbsp;<strong>field devices</strong>&nbsp;(hardware + embedded software).</li> <li>Experience validating&nbsp;<strong>off-the-shelf (COTS) devices</strong>&nbsp;for product integration.</li> <li>Familiarity with communication protocols (Camera Mipi interface, PCIe, CAN, USB, eMMC, RS232, RF, etc.).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).</li> <li>Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exposure to compliance/regulatory testing (EMI/EMC, thermal, vibration, safety).</li> <li>Experience in scripting/automation (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Shell).</li> <li>Field deployment or customer-facing debugging experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement</strong>: Netradyne is an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.</p> <p><strong>Additional Information: </strong>This position is based out in HM Tech Park, Whitefield Bangalore.​</p> <p><strong>Follow us on LinkedIn: For more information on our work culture, follow us on </strong><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/netradyne/mycompany/"><strong>Netradyne: My Company | LinkedIn</strong></a>​</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="text-align: justify;">We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
