We believe the future will run on the connective tissue between people, machines and data: all in the service of creating the most human processes and experiences for customers and employees.    Job Description:   As a Senior Staff Software Engineer within Product Engineering, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for delivering complex frontend systems and driving technical excellence across multiple teams. You will collaborate closely with product management, design, backend, platform, and security partners to implement scalable, high-quality, and secure user experiences aligned with product goals.   In this role, you   remain   deeply hands-on while shaping technical solutions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring frontend systems meet performance, quality, and security expectations. You are expected to lead cross-team initiatives, resolve complex technical challenges, and partner with Principal Engineers to align execution with longer-term architectural direction.     Responsibilities   Design and implement frontend architecture for complex, multi-team SaaS applications.   Deliver and evolve shared UI components, frameworks, and frontend foundations used across products.   Work closely with product, design, backend, platform, and security teams to translate requirements into robust frontend implementations.   Conduct in-depth code and design reviews, focusing on maintainability, performance, accessibility, and security.   Contribute hands-on to critical paths, complex UI flows, and performance-sensitive areas.   Drive adoption of testing practices, secure coding standards, and accessibility guidelines within teams.   Identify   and remediate frontend quality gaps and security vulnerabilities, coordinating fixes across teams.   Mentor engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and technical problem solving.   Ensure frontend deliverables meet reliability, usability, and release-readiness standards.   Support sprint planning, release execution, and cross-team coordination for frontend initiatives.     Requirements   10–14 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on   frontend   development.   Advanced   expertise   in JavaScript and TypeScript.   Proven experience building production systems using React, Vue.js, or Angular.   Demonstrated ability to design and scale maintainable frontend solutions.   Strong understanding of browser behavior,   rendering   performance, and client-side security.   Hands-on experience developing  component   libraries, design systems, and state management solutions.   Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs,   WebSockets , and event-based data flows.   Solid experience with automated testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.   Practical experience handling dependency upgrades, vulnerability fixes, and release-quality issues.   Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across regions.   Strong problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment.     Good to Have   Experience owning frontend delivery for large features or product areas.   Hands-on exposure to build systems, bundlers, and performance tuning techniques.   Experience   contributing to or extending internal UI frameworks   or tooling.   Familiarity with monitoring front - end performance and diagnosing production issues.   Enough exposure to  real-time or data-intensive UI applications.   Experience   participating   in technical RFCs or architecture reviews.   Awareness of accessibility and internationalization considerations in modern web applications.   Hands-on experience with AI-first development environments (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and a proven ability to leverage LLMs for rapid prototyping, debugging, and boilerplate reduction while   maintaining   deep technical oversight.     Location preference: India - Bangalore Uniphore is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
