Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Solutioning & Value Engineering
Master the Product & "Selling AI":
Develop a master-level understanding of the WebEngage suite, specifically our
AI-powered personalization and predictive features
. You must be able to explain
our
AI capabilities to a CTO, while using
your
AI tools to build the pitch.
Architecture & Frameworks:
Create visual data-flow diagrams and integration frameworks that clearly demonstrate how WebEngage fits into complex enterprise ecosystems (CDPs, Warehouses, CRMs).
ROI & Economic Modeling:
Move beyond feature lists. Build and standardize
ROI calculators and value-assessment models
that mathematically prove the economic impact of our solution to C-level stakeholders.
2. Innovation & Efficiency (The "AI-First" Workflow)
Modernize the Workflow:
Actively utilize
Generative AI and modern productivity tools
(e.g., LLMs, automation scripts) to accelerate routine tasks. Find better ways to summarize client discovery notes, generate technical specs, and research industry trends.
Reimagine Deliverables:
Lead the evolution of our RFPs, RFIs, and Solution Documents. Instead of static text responses, explore dynamic formats, visual storytelling, and data-backed responses that stand out to buyers.
Benchmarking & Insights:
Analyze deployments across key sectors (BFSI, Retail, etc.) to identify "impact stories." Use these patterns to build reusable "Best Practice" playbooks for the wider sales team.
3. Collaboration & Market Intelligence
Sales Partnership:
Collaborate with Partner Managers and Sales Executives to execute complex engagements. Bring a "Value Engineering" mindset to discovery sessions and POCs.
Bridge the Gap:
Act as the intelligent bridge between the market and the product. Provide structured feedback to Product Management regarding emerging AI-led market opportunities and cross-industry patterns.
Requirements
5–7 years of experience
in Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting (SaaS preferred).
Critical Thinking:
You don't just follow a template; you question it. You have a proven ability to deconstruct complex client challenges and rebuild them into elegant solution narratives.
Tool-First Efficiency:
Demonstrated ability to adopt new tools quickly. You are comfortable using new age
AI, visualization, and automation platforms
to enhance your daily output.
Technical & Soft Skills
Consultative Selling:
Expertise in listening to client challenges, forming problem hypotheses, and articulating value effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Architecture Fluency:
Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, APIs, and data flows. You can explain how WebEngage integrates into a complex ecosystem without confusing the room.
Communication Style:
Excellent verbal and written skills, with a flair for
visual communication
. You prefer a clean diagram over a wall of text.
