Drive and own the technical design and scoping for major features, analyzing alternatives and recommending solutions that balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural health.
Analyze Play’s infrastructure to ensure tight integration with the main Play Store app.
Advocate and integrate AI tools to unlock team velocity and impact.
Be responsible for the full lifecycle, including development and deployment, of features in an app available for users.
Maintain the technical excellence for the team and guide the work of adjacent engineers.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience leading technical development of large-scale systems.
