Plan and execute infrastructure changes that help Google One (G1) continue to lead the way in security practices (e.g., building new APIs, writing new business logic, and changing our databases).
Set the standard and guidance for security practices on the team.
Drive adoption of Google best practices and security controls in G1.
Collaborate with the other teams within G1 as well as other products and teams across Google.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in software development.
2 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
Experience working in Security/trust domain.
Experience in backend development using Java.
Passion for the security and backend development space.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and cross-team collaboration.
