Position Overview
We are excited to invite applications for a Senior Software Engineer position within our Centre of Excellence (CoE). This distinctive role is ideal for a high-caliber professional who excels in dynamic, exploratory environments. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development Managers (BDM), and Engineering leadership to pioneer research initiatives, assess emerging technologies, and deliver actionable insights that inform our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
Spearhead research and feasibility assessments for advanced technologies, frameworks, and product concepts.
Design and develop scalable, enterprise-ready Proofs of Concept (PoCs)and solution architectures emphasizing practical applicability.
Transform ambiguous concepts into robust prototypes and well-defined technical roadmaps.
Take complete ownership of CoE initiatives, steering them from ideation and research through prototyping and feasibility validation.
Identify and advocate for emerging trends, facilitating their adoption across the organization.
Partner with Sales, BDM, and Engineering leaders to ensure CoE initiatives align with overarching business objectives.
Create reusable frameworks, best practices, and innovation resources to enhance team productivity.
Exercise sound judgment to adapt, pivot, or conclude initiatives in response to evolving market dynamics and priorities.
Foster engineering excellence through peer mentoring and dissemination of advanced technical knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience
4–5+ years of progressive hands-on software engineering experience, demonstrating strong ownership and delivery.
Proven track record in research-oriented or exploratory projects, such as PoCs or technology evaluations.
A proactive, builder's mindset with the ability to generate clarity amid ambiguity and deliver outcomes independently.
Strong proficiency in full-stack development or specialization in backend/frontend technologies.
Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure as code practices.
Working knowledge of AI/ML tools, APIs and integrations.
Solid expertise in system design, scalability, performance tuning, and microservices architecture.
Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and the capacity for autonomous technical decision-making.
