About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of hands-on experience in
.NET Full Stack development
Strong expertise in
C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Web API
4+ years of experience applying
Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns
4+ years of experience developing and consuming
web services
(REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
4+ years of experience with
HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as
AngularJS or ReactJS
4+ years of experience working with
Microsoft SQL Server
Writing complex queries and stored procedures
Query optimization and performance tuning
4+ years of experience in
relational database design and data modeling
4+ years of experience using
AI-assisted development tools
such as:
GitHub Copilot
Claude (or similar AI coding tools)
Strong experience with
Test Driven Development (TDD)
Hands-on experience with:
Unit testing
Integration testing
API testing
Performance and functional testing
4+ years of experience with
test automation tools
Selenium
Playwright
Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating
application security vulnerabilities
Strong understanding of
secure coding practices
Well-versed in
SDLC processes
Strong experience with
Agile / Scrum methodologies
Ability to translate
business requirements into technical designs and solutions
Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision
Experience working directly with
US-based partner teams
Demonstrated ability to
lead by example
Ability to motivate team members to deliver high-quality results
Strong
verbal and written communication skills
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
