Job Description
Summary:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.
Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools.
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
You will report to SENIOR MANAGER, SOFTWARE ENGININEERING, Work location Pune.
Your Responsibilities:
proficiency in Python for backend services and APIs
5+ years of experience writing clean, testable, production‑grade code
Familiarity with common Python frameworks ( FastAPI is must , Flask, Django – knowlegde)
Working knowledge of lib like Pandas and Numpy for data processing
Database & Data Modeling
Solid understanding of
relational databases
(PostgreSQL/MySQL or equivalent)
Design and reason about
data models
, relationships, indexing, and constraints
Comfortable writing optimized SQL queries
Backend Architecture Basics
RESTful API design
Understanding of service‑to‑service communication
Error handling, logging, and performance considerations
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Typically
5–7+ years
of backend development experience
Prior ownership of backend components or services in production systems
Familiarity with common Python frameworks ( FastAPI is must , Flask, Django – knowlegde)
Solid understanding of
relational databases
(PostgreSQL/MySQL or equivalent)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Background in distributed systems or microservices
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
