In this role, you will:
• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.

Software Development
Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using
C# and .NET
Build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services and APIs
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
Database / SQL
Design and optimize
SQL\Postgres Server
databases, queries, stored procedures, and views
Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability
Work with large datasets and support reporting/data extraction needs
AI / Machine Learning Integration
Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications and workflows
Build features using generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics, or automation where applicable
Evaluate AI solution feasibility, performance, and business value
Engineering Leadership
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Drive engineering quality through testing, CI/CD, and documentation
Support technical planning, estimation, and delivery
Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders
Gather requirements and propose technical solutions
Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with
C# and .NET
Proficiency in
SQL\postgres Server
and relational database design
Experience building REST APIs and backend services
Familiarity with software design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles
Experience with AI/ML integration, AI APIs, or applied AI solutions
Knowledge of version control tools like Git
Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong experience designing and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on knowledge of tools such as
Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment environments
Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as
Docker
and
Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Knowledge of security best practices in delivery pipelines
Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 5 to 8 years.

Desired CharacteristicsTechnical Expertise:
Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
