Looking for an experienced software engineer to join the cloud engines group at Alteryx. If you have worked on scalable/distributed data processing systems and are passionate about cloud technologies, this is the right opportunity for you. You will play a key role in building the core execution layer for all the applications in the Alteryx analytics cloud with some of the industry's best peers and leaders.
Responsibilities
· Build deep knowledge and expertise of cloud-scale distributed data processing systems such as Databricks, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
· Propose and implement standards of engineering discipline, developer collaboration, and software quality.
· Write elegant, scalable, and efficient code.
· Design, build and evolve horizontally scalable and efficient data processing architectures for the Cloud/SaaS world.
· Lead large complexity features end to end while working with junior engineers.
Requirements
· 4+ Years of software development experience in Java/Scala based stacks.
· 2+ Experience working on scalable distributed systems.
· Excellent communication skills.
· 1+ Years of Experience working with cloud ecosystems.
· Experience leading/mentoring junior engineers.
· Knowledge of NodeJS is a strong plus.
