We are looking for a backend developer with strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, microservices architecture, and database development. In this role, you will work on developing modern APIs, integrating third-party systems, and building the backend layer for operational tooling and automation. Role and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services using .NET Core (.NET 6/8) and C#.
Build robust and scalable microservice-based systems following best practices and SOLID principles.
Work with SQL Server to design schemas, write complex stored procedures, and optimize performance.
Conduct research and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) related to backend automation and tool integrations.
Integrate with external platforms and APIs such as Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Security Hub.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews.
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver production-grade software.
Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design, and mentoring when required.
Required Skills:
5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core (API development) and C#.
Strong experience designing and implementing microservices and scalable backend systems.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and message queues.
Proficiency in SQL Server database design and optimization.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Optional (Nice to Have) Skills:
Hands-on with automated evidence collection tools or scripting systems.
Exposure to GRC platforms or compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
Experience integrating with third-party security or workflow platforms (e.g., Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Jira, ServiceNow).
Familiarity with OAuth2, SAML, and API security best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Python is a plus.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in cloud technologies or backend technologies are a bonus.
