Role Summary
:
We are looking for a highly skilled
Platform Engineer
with strong hands-on experience in building, scaling, and maintaining modern platform engineering solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in
cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes ecosystems, automation, CI/CD, observability tooling, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
You will work closely with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to create robust, secure, and efficient platforms that enable high developer productivity and reliable services.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Platform Development & Operations
Design, build, and maintain scalable platform components that support product engineering teams.
Implement automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and service mesh environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools like
Terraform and Helm
Standardize cloud configurations and enforce infrastructure best practices.
Cloud & Containerization
Deploy and operate applications using public Cloud services mainly
AWS.
Azure/GCP is added advantage
Handle container orchestration using
Kubernetes (EKS)
.
CI/CD & Automation
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as
GitLab CI .
Argo CD or FluxCD is added advantage.
Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Monitoring, Observability & Reliability
Implement and manage observability stacks including
OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Cloud-Watch
Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability.
Security & Compliance
Integrate security best practices into platform workflows (DevSecOps).
Implement policies, RBAC, secrets management, and compliance automation.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with developers to resolve platform-related challenges.
Build reusable templates, documentation, and playbooks for internal teams.
Participate in an on-call rotation if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4-6 years of Hands-on experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps roles.
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native tools.
Deep knowledge of
AWS
services and architecture patterns.
Hands-on experience with
Terraform
or other IaC tools.
Proficiency in
CI/CD pipelines
and deployment automation.
Strong knowledge of observability toolsets (Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry).
Proficient in scripting languages like
Python
,
Bash
, or
Go
.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
Experience with
version control systems (Git)
and GitOps workflows (good to have).
Preferred / Good to Have Skill:
Experience building
Internal Developer Platforms
or platform-as-a-product.
Knowledge of
service mesh
technologies (Istio).
Familiarity with
Crossplane
, or platform orchestration tools.
Experience with security tools (Vault, Trivy, AWS Inspector).
Experience in agile development environments.
General exposure to
GenAI, LLM-based automation
, or AI-enhanced DevOps practices

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science/Equivalent from a reputed institute.
4-6 years
of total industry experience working in large product teams.
Strong
hands-on experience with Platform engineering
tools and technologies
