About the Senior Site Reliability Engineer role… We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer. This role involves architecting and implementing core platform enhancements while maintaining strong operational excellence. You will provide dedicated, enabling support to various Engineering teams across the organization. As a key member of the Infrastructure Platform team, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in: • AWS Cloud infrastructure • Kubernetes administration • Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code A significant aspect of this position is close collaboration with Data Scientists and Engineers as the infrastructure expert, to ensure the data platform continuously meets the evolving needs of the business. What you’ll do… • Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reliable production grade infrastructure using Terraform. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the infrastructure platform for performance and cost. • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their data requirements and provide efficient solutions, adhering to security policies. • Maintaining and auditing security of the infrastructure (both network level and system hardening) • Ensuring adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, GDPR and ISO 27001 • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve our infrastructure platform. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all platform components. • Act as an escalation point and subject matter expert for BAU support issues related to the infrastructure platform. • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical production infrastructure. What you have… • Extensive professional experience in an infrastructure platform engineering role .eg SRE, DevOps • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, GoLang). • Strong Linux Administration skills and security hardening experience. • Demonstrated deep experience with AWS, Terraform and the associated data services. • Demonstrated deep experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration service and underlying technologies .eg Ingress, Network Policies, FluentBit • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery). • Understanding of MLOps and LLMOps principles. • Experience with big data and streaming technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Strong independent work ethic with the capacity for sound, logical decision-making. • Can work in a small cross functional team, balancing multiple competing priorities Our Perks & Benefits… - Mental health and well-being initiatives - Generous parental (including secondary) leave policy - Flexibility to work in a Hybrid model (2-3 days in-office) - Paid birthday, study and volunteering leave every year - Sponsored social clubs, team events, and celebrations - Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to help you connect and get involved - Investment in your personal growth offering training for your advancement Does this job sound like you?
