About the Role
As a Senior Security Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring our financial applications are
secure, compliant, and resilient
. You’ll combine strong functional understanding with deep security expertise to identify risks early, strengthen systems, and drive a secure-by-design culture across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
security testing initiatives
for fintech products including payments and banking platforms.
Perform
penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling
for web, API, and mobile applications.
Analyze
functional workflows
to uncover security gaps, edge cases, and negative scenarios.
Define, implement, and enforce
security testing standards, processes, and best practices
.
Work closely with
Product and Engineering teams
to ensure security is embedded from design to release.
Mentor junior testers and promote
security awareness
across the organization.
Prepare detailed
security reports
, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
4–5 years of hands-on experience in
security testing
, preferably within fintech or financial services.
Strong understanding of
functional testing
and real-world application workflows.
Expertise in
web, API, and mobile application security
.
Good knowledge of fintech compliance and security standards such as
PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, OWASP Top 10
.
Experience with security tools like
Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Metasploit
, or similar.
Relevant security certifications such as
CEH, OSCP, CISSP
, or equivalent (preferred).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to
lead security initiatives
and influence cross-functional teams.
