In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to: Lead technical discovery and assessment workshops with prospective customers. Design cloud-native and application modernization architectures aligned to business goals. Validate technical feasibility, resolve architectural spikes, and drive Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs). Translate complex technical solutions into clear value propositions for technical and business stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to enable successful customer onboarding and value realization. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead client discovery and technical assessment workshops to understand business context, constraints, and success criteria. Design modern cloud-native and application modernization solutions using microservices, containers, serverless, APIs, and service mesh patterns. Perform tool-assisted analysis, architecture reviews, and define application modernization roadmaps. Produce technical artifacts including product requirement documentation, architecture diagrams, solution designs, TCO calculations, technical documentation, presentations, demos, and PoCs. Build reusable accelerators and blueprints. And leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules, and solution artifacts. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams across pursuits and delivery transitions. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and industry research to strengthen technical credibility. REPORTING LINE You will be reporting to the Vice President I, Sales. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: BE / B.Tech (Computer Science) or MCA. 5+ years of total experience, including 3–4 years in software development and/or DevOps, 1–2 years in Solutions Architecture or Pre-Sales for application development and modernization services. Proven experience designing and presenting cloud-native architectures. Hands-on proficiency in at least one backend programming stack: Java, Node.js/TypeScript, .NET, or Python. Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Demonstrated expertise in system design, scalability, fault tolerance, and distributed architectures Experience driving Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and technical demos in pre-sales contexts. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AWS Solutions Architect – Associate and/or Professional certification. Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, scalability, and high-availability design. Hands-on exposure to application modernization strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Rearchitect). Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep. Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and streaming platforms. Knowledge of AWS or Azure Well-Architected Framework and cost optimization practices. Exposure to AI/ML integrations or LLM-powered applications is a strong plus. Prior experience working with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and senior IT leadership. Published technical content, public speaking, or workshop facilitation experience.
