Job Summary- We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyze performance tests to ensure application scalability, stability, and responsiveness under varying load conditions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-standard performance testing tools and a strong understanding of system architecture, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities- -Develop comprehensive performance test strategies and plans aligned with system requirements, project timelines, and business goals. -Understand application architecture and identify critical business transactions for performance validation. -Design realistic workload models to simulate real-world usage scenarios. -Create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar. -Conduct baseline, load, stress, and scalability testing to evaluate system behavior under different conditions. -Monitor system performance using tools like InfluxDB, Grafana, JVM monitoring tools, and MAT (Memory Analyzer Tool). -Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and system limitations. -Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. -Assess system scalability and recommend optimizations to improve performance and reliability. -Generate detailed performance test reports, including metrics, findings, and actionable recommendations. -Work with stakeholders to gather and validate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), SLAs, and KPIs. -Perform API and service-level testing using tools like Postman and SOAP UI, including WebSocket testing. -Communicate performance insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders. Performance Testing Lifecycle Responsibilities- -3+ years of understanding system architecture and components -Identify critical user journeys and transactions -Design workload models and test scenarios -Prepare and validate test scripts -Execute baseline tests -Perform load, stress, and endurance testing -Monitor application and infrastructure performance -Analyze results and provide recommendations Required Skills & Qualifications- -3+ years of strong experience in performance testing and engineering -Proficiency in tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or equivalent -Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, JVM tools, and MAT -Knowledge of API testing (Postman/SOAP UI) and WebSocket testing -Solid understanding of system architecture, scalability, and distributed systems -Experience in analyzing performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks -Familiarity with NFRs, SLAs, and KPIs -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills -Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
