Job Summary
Micromitti is seeking an experienced
Senior Project Engineer – Civil
to manage and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering activities across assigned projects from design through construction and handover
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Prepare project schedules, method statements, work plans, and progress reports
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, quality standards, and HSE requirements
Monitor project costs, quantities, and resource utilization
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site teams
Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and support construction activities
Support tendering, value engineering, and change management processes
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 15
–20 years
of relevant civil engineering and project execution experience
Proven experience in infrastructure, building, or industrial civil projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project controls
Experience working with consultants and regulatory authorities
Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong project management and leadership skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera/MS Project, etc.)
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and risk management
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
