Role Overview:
The Senior Product Manager – Supply Chain Technology will play a critical role in owning and driving the end-to-end supply tech ecosystem. This includes warehouse operations, inventory systems, replenishment engines, and last-mile delivery products. The role focuses on building AI-led, scalable solutions that directly impact business KPIs such as fulfillment speed, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, systems-oriented, and experienced in building complex operational products in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Ownership:
Define and own the multi-quarter roadmap for supply chain technology, ensuring alignment with business KPIs such as order fulfillment speed, cost optimization, and inventory accuracy. Lead end-to-end product development from discovery and scoping to launch and scaled adoption across all supply tech systems.
Supply Tech Product Ecosystem Management:
Own and manage key platforms including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Automated Replenishment Systems, Inventory Management, Rider Apps, and Picker Apps. Ensure seamless Product integration across systems to create a unified and efficient supply chain ecosystem with strong data feedback loops.
AI and Automation Integration:
Drive the adoption of AI/ML capabilities across the supply chain, including demand forecasting, dynamic slotting, route optimization, and anomaly detection. Ensure AI is embedded as a core product philosophy to reduce manual intervention and improve decision-making speed.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, data science, operations, category, and commercial teams to translate complex supply chain problems into scalable product solutions. Align supply-side capabilities with demand planning and customer fulfillment goals.
KPI and Performance Management:
Establish and monitor a robust metrics framework covering order fulfillment rate, pick accuracy, dispatch turnaround time, inventory variance, rider SLA adherence, and replenishment cycle time. Drive continuous improvement through data-backed decision-making.
Vendor and Platform Management:
Evaluate and manage third-party tools and platforms within the supply tech stack using a structured build-vs-buy approach focused on scalability and speed.
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
Mentor junior product managers and analysts while fostering a strong product culture. Drive alignment across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership through clear communication, structured OKRs, and regular progress updates.
KPI Ownership
Own and drive improvements across key supply metrics, including order speed, fulfillment cost per order, inventory accuracy, pick and pack efficiency, compliance, rider on-time delivery, shrinkage, replenishment lead time, and stockout rates.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 5–9 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse technology.
• Prior experience in e-commerce or quick commerce, preferably in high-SKU FMCG or grocery environments.
• Proven track record of building and scaling complex operational products end-to-end.
Skills
• Strong understanding of supply chain systems, including WMS, inventory management, and last-mile delivery tech.
• Hands-on experience working with AI/ML or data science teams on forecasting or automation products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational metrics into product decisions.
