<p>Toast's Product Team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to drive a user-experience-centric roadmap for critical pieces of the restaurant operations workflow, including <strong>Cash Management</strong>, <strong>Close Out</strong>, and supporting our <strong>vertical expansion</strong> through a new 0-to-1 Memberships offering targeting high-growth restaurant segments. As the Sr. Product Manager, you will lead initiatives that deliver best-in-class solutions, understand the truth of the business, and innovate on existing and new processes.</p>
<p>You will develop deep empathy for the needs of our customers and their guests while working with teams across Toast including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to build and shape innovative new products and offerings. <p><strong>A day in the life (Responsibilities) </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own the <strong>entire Cash & Close domain</strong> across point-of-sale and web surfaces, ensuring a seamless, reliable experience for restaurant operators</li>
<li>Support Toast's vertical expansion to Memberships, partnering to launch and scale a 0-to-1 product from beta through general availability, with a focus on high-growth restaurant segments</li>
<li>Learn the Toast POS product deeply and become an expert, advocate, and internal evangelist for your domain</li>
<li>Manage and prioritize your backlog rigorously, driving purpose, clarity, and momentum for your teams</li>
<li>Write detailed user stories and product specifications that clearly communicate requirements to Engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment</li>
<li>Lead scrum ceremonies and ensure strong stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success</li>
<li>Partner with Engineering and UX to design, launch, and support new features with an eye toward reliability and offline resilience</li>
<li>Meet and correspond directly with customers and prospects to gather feedback, surface insights, and close the loop on feature requests</li>
<li>Define, track, and analyze product adoption and usage metrics to inform decisions</li>
<li>Work closely with Product Marketing and Customer Education on Go-To-Market strategies and release plans</li>
<li>Perform market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends</li>
<li>Leverage AI tools and emerging technology to accelerate discovery, improve prioritization, and enhance the overall product development process</li>
</ul>
<p><br><strong>What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of hands-on product management experience with a proven track record of delivering B2B SaaS products to market at scale</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to support 0-to-1 product launches as well as maintain and evolve mature, high-scale products</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, you can tell a compelling story, align stakeholders, and translate complex problems into clear solutions (expect to demonstrate your problem-solving approach as part of the interview process)</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and effectively across multiple workstreams with diverse stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience in restaurant POS or hospitality technology is a plus, but a strong appetite to learn the space is what matters most</li>
<li>Familiarity with AI-powered tools and a curiosity for how emerging technology can improve product workflows and customer outcomes is a plus</li>
<li>Flexibility to collaborate across time zones, including willingness to have some overlapping hours with the US East Coast to ensure effective communication and alignment</li>
