About the Role
As a
Senior Product Designer
at ShopOS,
you’ll take the lead in shaping the
user experience of our Gen AI-native commerce platform
. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and creative teams to turn bold ideas into simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences across web and mobile. This role is for someone who’s excited to
push design boundaries, mentor peers, and define design standards
in a fast-moving environment. You’ll be designing at the intersection of
commerce, creativity, and AI
—helping brands launch faster, operate smarter, and sell more with less effort.
What You'II Own
Design end-to-end product experiences
—from flows and wireframes to polished UI
Collaborate with PMs and engineers
to define problems, explore solutions, and ship fast
Lead the design of
AI-driven workflows, data-rich dashboards, and storefront tools
.
Shape and scale the
design system
— ensuring visual consistency and extensibility.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a
world-class design culture
.
Craft intuitive UX
for AI-driven workflows, data-rich dashboards, and storefront tools
Contribute to and evolve the design system
—ensuring visual consistency and scalability
Prototype interactions and flows
to test and iterate quickly
Bring customer insights into design
through research, interviews, and analytics
Deliver production-ready design specs
and assets to engineers
Advocate for users
while balancing business and technical constraints
What We're Looking For
5–6 years
of full-time experience as a Product Designer (UX/UI) in digital products.
Strong portfolio showcasing
user-centric design for B2B SaaS, tools, or consumer apps
.
Fluency in
Figma
and industry-standard design tools.
Expertise in
wireframing, UI design, prototyping, and user research
.
Proven track record working in
cross-functional teams
with PMs and engineers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to
rationalize design decisions
clearly.
Obsessed with detail, craft, and creating polished experiences.
Comfortable operating in a
fast-paced, startup environment
.
Bonus Points
Experience designing
AI, automation, or creative tools
.
Deep familiarity with
design systems
and component libraries.
Prior work on
ecommerce platforms, CMS, or workflow tools
.
Motion design or micro-interaction chops.
Understanding of
frontend dev basics
and design-to-dev handoff best practices.
Prior experience in a
high-growth startup
